Duesey Day is Garner’s signature summer celebration, bringing the community together for a multi-day event filled with family fun, live entertainment, local pride, and meaningful moments of recognition.

The 2026 celebration centers on the theme “A Legacy of Service & Strength – Honoring Those Who Serve, Heal, and Inspire,” recognizing the individuals, organizations, and volunteers who have shaped and continue to strengthen our community. Throughout the weekend, Duesey Day will feature live music and entertainment, a community parade, youth and family activities, food vendors, and opportunities to celebrate Garner’s history and hometown spirit.  More than a festival, Duesey Day reflects the values that define Garner service, resilience, and connection. The event welcomes residents, visitors, businesses, and community partners to come together in celebration, gratitude, and community pride.
